It is not easy to get back...

I am back from my romantic, funny and intense, pre honeymoon trip to Italy!

It was not easy to get back, and that is not just because of the bags of shopping, but because the bunch of experiences that filled up my brain, heart and imagination. It gets hard to focus.

New in Town!

Some years ago in the middle of the winter I was also arriving in Minnesota as today I saw in this movie. That reminded me many stories and situations that I got myself into, and made me miss this such unique place.

The movie is lovely, shows a Minnesota from the country, little different than the one I knew, but shows the same sweety, lovely and unforgettable people that I met. The ones who make the freezing cold warm, the bunch of snow romantic and fun, the dry trees memorable and colorful, the ones who make Minnesota a place to miss...

Inspiration for the week!

I am not a very religious person, actually I don't really have a religion, but I do believe in God... For me he is a like strong energy that leads the world as a bandmaster leads an orchestra.

I've lived many moments, met people, heard stories that you feel that something is different, as someone wants to send you a message.

And as I don't believe in coincidences, not at all, I need to tell you that last week I lived one of those magical moments, when it seems that the world stops around you just at the time you needed it the most. And somehow you feel yourself capable of seeing things in an another way, you gain power and you remember that you should never doubt somethings...

It was a direct, simple and truly "I am hearing you".

At midday I was sad and distresses. I need to make a decision, need to help someone that I love more than anything in the world... I needed a clue of what should I do, I was needing help to be able to help.

So I sat in a park and while I was talking to myself expecting someone, somewhere, to hear me, a person came by and gave me a piece of paper. He said "something made me come here to give this to you", so he left.

The paper was written "This will also pass by".

The message speaks on its on, but for me, last week, a sad girl was visited by God in the middle of the day at calm and green brazilian park...

Today is Andre's Birthday

Carnival Break!

You might know that it was Carnival these days in Brazil... I am not a huge fan of crowd but for the ones that like it this is really THE time os the year!

I enjoyed the holiday relaxing with Andre and my sister Flavea that came to visit me here in São Paulo and we spend the time doing the best that the city gives us: theatres, movies, malls, restaurants and an unexpected visit of the zoo, that is huge and with a lot of cute and weird animals...

Now that Carnival is over we will get back to work and to the plans of the wedding!

I found THE DRESS!!!

This is just a little note to tell that after all research I finally got into the draw of MY DRESS!

So now I have it in paper!!! And it is obvious that I won't tell any details of it here, but I can say that for me it is gorgeous...

Need to get dressed to marriage...

Yesterday I was with some friends of mine and we made a deal of creating mini plans that must become real before our next meeting.

Well, I needed a goal and as in my free time the most thing I do is to think, to search and to dream about all the details and details of the weeding (and oh my God why does it need to have so many details...), my deal was that I will finally start choosing the dress.

And as the next meeting with my friends is on january 29th I do need to go for the real dress instead of just search on the internet afraid of really dress myself as a bride.

Soon as I have any news, obvious, I won't show it, but I will tell the feeling of being somehow closed to the dress.

Happy 2009! The Wedding year...

It is a start of another year... It seems the same, but somehow different, it seems scared as every year that starts full of surprises, but with the dreams we got inside ourselves, most of the times it seems just right, full of opportunities, full of love and plenty of strenght to go on and on looking for happiness, if for some reason we dont think it (the happiness) is already with us.

I had a huge lost in the end of 2008. I lost my uncle Raimundo. He had the down syndrome, was 58 years old, and was sick for a long time already. We all knew he needed to rest and he did not deserve that suffering, but for sure we were not ready to loose him. With his story I learnt that we are never ready to loose anybody that we love.

It hurt so much and I was just not in the feeling of thinking about the wedding, cause he always said that he would walk me to the priest on the big day, and he wont be there. Writing about it makes me miss him more... But I know I will have to keep writing and that I have to make it very happy and lovely, as he had always been!

Needed to share this with you to leave a message for 2009: Never leave the ones that you love without a lovely word, without showing them how you feel, cause we never know when it is going to be the last time...
